Aurora is a high-end creamery making organic, vegan-friendly sweets with almond, oat and coconut milk. Known for the sweet aroma of its shop, it asked us to bottle that scent as a new product line: Aurora Lights, a candle given free to customers for the holiday season.
Aurora Creamery makes entirely organic, vegan-friendly delicacies, swapping dairy for almond, oat and coconut milk and using only the best ingredients. What customers remember most, though, is the smell of the shop the moment they walk in.
The brief: create a new product line that lets customers take that aroma home. A limited run of candles, handed out free over the holidays, that had to feel as considered as anything on the counter and clearly belong to Aurora.

We built Aurora Lights as a sub-brand that sits comfortably beside the creamery. The wordmark keeps Aurora's soft, flowing letterforms, with LIGHTS set in spaced capitals beneath it, so the line reads as a natural extension rather than a new company.
The palette pairs a deep midnight navy with warm cream: the color of an evening shopfront and the glow of a candle in the window. It carries from the storefront signage through the packaging and print, so the gift feels like a piece of the shop.
A complete identity for the Aurora Lights line across signage, packaging and print, ready for the holiday giveaway and flexible enough to grow into a permanent range.
